Onboarding your organisation

At Health for Work, onboarding and engagement are built entirely around your unique workforce, rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

Discovery session

We run a short discovery session with leaders and staff volunteers to understand shift patterns, language needs, and barriers to care.

These insights shape a fully customised, branded portal built around what your people say works.

Launch webinars

We deliver short, shift-friendly webinars during launch and quarterly thereafter, so everyone can attend when it suits them.

Each 20-30 minute session is recorded and gives teams confidence to use the service.

Colleague champions

We identify a small group of respected volunteer staff to act as peer champions across your organisation.

Champions complete a single 45-minute virtual session and receive a simple toolkit to help support and encourage others.

Live chat support

Your team has access to a dedicated live chat service run by an experienced support team.

Available 365 days a year from 8am to midnight, live chat helps with questions, bookings, and navigating the platform.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really worth it?

Yes. A healthier workforce is a more productive and engaged one. By offering proactive and accessible health services—mental, physical, and preventative—employers see improvements in:

  • Absenteeism and presenteeism
  • Staff retention and satisfaction
  • Cost savings on traditional healthcare routes
  • Early intervention and management of chronic conditions

Investing in an integrated health solution demonstrates care and commitment to staff wellbeing, which translates into a measurable return on investment.

Is it secure?

Absolutely. Data security is paramount. All services are compliant with Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and use end-to-end encryption. Medical consultations follow strict confidentiality protocols, and any health data is stored securely and only accessed by authorised personnel.

What is the benefit of GP services for employees?

Access to telehealth GP services removes common barriers like travel, wait times, and scheduling constraints. Employees can:

  • Get same-day medical advice or prescriptions
  • Manage chronic conditions without disrupting work hours
  • Obtain referrals and medical certificates efficiently
How does this integrate into our system?

Integration is optional. Health for Work is a standalone platform that works seamlessly from day one, with no IT integration required.

Employees can access it via a secure web portal or app, and if you choose, it can also be linked through your HR or intranet via SSO and branded to match your organisation. The result is simple, low-friction access without extra logins or setup.

What is the implementation process?

The onboarding process is straightforward:

  • Scoping session – to understand your workforce needs
  • Configuration – branding and user access setup
  • Training – sessions for HR teams and managers
  • Launch support – materials, communication templates, and live demos
  • Ongoing support – account management and user analytics reports

Most companies are fully live within 2–4 weeks.

Why telehealth over in-person consultations?

Telehealth offers unmatched speed, convenience, and flexibility. While in-person visits still have their place (e.g., physical exams), telehealth:

  • Provides immediate access to care—critical for early intervention
  • Reduces absenteeism due to travel and wait times
  • Improves accessibility for remote, hybrid, or time-poor staff

Especially in the post-COVID era, employees expect digital-first care options that match their lifestyle.
